Geography 12:

What a crazy week! Here is the vital info for you:

1. Your exam is still on Monday. Please take the time to review and make use of the Moodle website which has valuable information. The exam outline is posted further down on this blog (from January 18th).

2. The ‘closed book’ environment test is cancelled. Lucky you! Focus on the final exam. The multiple choice and short answer homework I gave you is just for practice (no longer for marks), however, if you had other homework that you needed to get to me, I will accept that on Monday.

3. The ‘open book’ environment test for many of you still needs to be completed – come during your regularly scheduled Geography 12 class on Monday to get that done (Block C on Monday which is the last block of the day). If you cannot make it then, please speak to me on Monday and arrange another time. Otherwise I will be marking it ‘as is’.

4. You must hand in your textbooks on Monday, either before the exam or during last block. If these are not handed in, you will be billed.

* Wow!!! Another day off……here is the update – Grade 12s please read since I have included an outline for tomorrow’s class so you know what to expect!

Geography 12:

• Closed book test tomorrow will be the vocabulary (matching) and multiple choice/short answer type questions. There will be no written section as previously planned.
• Please make sure you are reviewing for your final exam on Monday. Practice provincials are on Moodle. We will now have very little time in class for review so you will be responsible for much of the review.
• Please email me if you have any specific concerns or questions!
• If you need more time for the open book test you must come during lunch to complete it!
• Format for Friday’s class:

1. Write the matching and multiple-choice/short response part of the closed book test. We will mark this in class.
2. Practice quiz for Monday
3. Talk about Monday’s exam
4. Textbook collection – if you have some textbooks you want to keep over the weekend, that is okay, but I can collect some on Friday as well
